Dr. Scarlett Timmons, DVM

Dr. Scarlett Timmons, DVM

Founding Veterinarian

From a young age, Scarlett knew she wanted to work with animals and spent her life preparing to become a veterinarian. Scarlett graduated from Augusta State University with her bachelor’s degree in science and completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia Veterinary School. As she became a veterinarian, her passion focused on helping unwanted and underserved pets, and she works closely with animal rescue groups to provide services for those pets. Her free time is spent caring for her horses and her seven dogs and cats, which are all rescued animals with medical needs.

Dr. Tara Poppy, DVM

Dr. Tara Poppy, DVM

Managing Veterinarian

Dr. Poppy graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2007. Native to the CSRA area, she enjoys providing quality healthcare for the community’s furry small animal companions. Dr. Poppy also provides healthcare for avian and exotic pets, including select wildlife for the Savannah River Ecology Lab. The most gratifying part of veterinary medicine is saving lives and improving the quality of life of her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys nature, walking, spending time with her husband, her five woofs, and one meow.

Dr. Ivey, DVM

Dr. Ivey, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Ivey was born and raised in Augusta. In 2019, she graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. After spending a few years away, her and her husband decided to move back home to be closer to family. She has 2 wild toddlers and a “plethora” of animals at home that keep her busy. Dr. Ivey especially loves her feline patients and doing animal rescue work. She cannot wait to join the team!

Rachel joined the veterinary field in 2020 and passed the VTNE in 2022; She is passionate about patient care and client education. She shares her home with her husband and her two dogs, Abraham and Tito. When she is not at work, Rachel likes to travel and spend time at home with her dogs

Heidi comes to us all the way from Lakewood, Colorado. She brings with her 12 years of experience working with pets, from kennel work to Tech assistant. She and her husband have one spoiled Shih Tzu mix named Ozzy. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, crafting, and exploring this part of the country with her husband.

Hannah has been in the veterinary field since 2012. Since joining All God’s Creatures she has taken on a leadership role to help train our other assistants. Hannah shares her home with her husband, five children, their two dogs Sammie and Sancho, and their cat Lelland. When she is not at work, Hannah likes to spend her time reading and traveling
Ally Bolton

Ally Bolton

Veterinary Assistant

Ally is a North Augusta Native and has always shown a passion for, caring for and raising animals of any species. She received her certification in Veterinary Assistance from Aiken Technical College and is currently Fear Free Certified.

Currently, she is enrolled with Penn Foster working towards receiving her LVT license. Since she was young, Ally has shown an enormous passion for rescuing animals that are in need of a loving home. When Ally was 12 years old, she started a rabbit farm where she would show rabbits, as well as, take in rabbits that were in need of a home. She currently has an English bulldog, Rebel, that she rescued and rehabilitated this year. Rebel is now happy, healthy, and living his best life as a very spoiled boy. Ally also has two cats (Leonardo and Raphael; named after the ninja turtles of course), a bearded dragon (Donatello), and two leopard geckos (MJ and Sunny) that she dedicates most of her free time to caring for.

Kayla joined the veterinary field in 2014, and has experience in both large animal and small animal medicine. When she is not at work, Kayla enjoys a full house of pets including, Houston, Halestorm (aka “Baby Cat”), Harold, Harvey and Morticia. She also enjoys photography, foraging, and hiking in the beautiful South Carolina mountains.

Destinee Stover

Veterinary Assistant

Destinee joined the veterinary medical field in 2018 after graduating with her diploma as a Veterinary Assistant in Pennsylvania. She is currently enrolled in classes to obtain her Veterinary Technician licensure. For the past three years she has worked in emergency medicine and thought it was time to transition back to General Practice. Destinee is passionate about client education and being involved in the rescue community. When she is not at work, Destinee is at home with her husband, two cats (Bruce Wayne and Oliver Queen) and her French Bulldog Mochi.

Veterinary Assistant

Emmie has been in the veterinary field for five years and is currently working towards getting her Veterinary Technician License. Emmie is very passionate about rescue work and has a special place in her heart for exotic animal care. She hares her home with her two dogs, Moxxie and Murphy, her two cats, Stella and Sam, and has many reptiles. When she is not at work Emmie enjoys spending time with her dogs and collecting tropical house plants.

Veterinary Assistant

Stacey Grew up in Vidalia, GA, and later moved to Augusta. She has been in the vet field since 2013. She enjoys working with large and small breed animals and is passionate about rescue work. She is our wildlife enthusiast and has rescued and rehabbed all kinds of animals, ranging from squirrels to deer, birds, dogs and cats.

Veterinary Assistant

Katie started in veterinary medicine after a career and life change in 2022. She moved across the country to be with her military husband and joined a previous clinic as a receptionist. Over the last year, she has transitioned into a vet assistant role here at All Gods Creatures. Katie has always had a passion for animals and has rescued several furry friends over the years. When not at the clinic, Katie loves taking her own dogs for adventures and cuddling with her cats.

Practice Manager

Elizabeth joined the veterinary community in 2020 and is currently at school to complete and obtain her veterinary technician license. She is very passionate about rescue work and the good TNR programs provide the local communities. She shares her home with her fiancé and their mini zoo of 3 dogs, 5 cats, and 2 guinea pigs. In her free time, she often competes in local dog shows and training events in Aiken or hiking and camping.

Cheryel is from Gainesville, FL, and a Gator fan through and through. She entered the veterinary field in 2012 after moving to Denver, CO. Cheryel has been married for 28 years to a retired Naval Warrant Officer and has 4 children and 1 grandson. Her house is full of love with 11 cats and a new German Shepherd rescue named Ziva.

Hi, I’m Lori! I’ve been in Vet Med for 20+ years as a veterinary technician and just recently moved to the front desk after some non-work-related injuries. I have four dogs, three cats, three human children, and a husband, so our house is a zoo. My favorite breed is pitbull, and my passion is seeing the abused/neglected animals come to life after some TLC—it’s amazing what love can do for them!

Lianna joined the AGC team in August of 2022. She was born in Virginia and moved to the Augusta area about six months ago. Before entering Veterinary Medicine, she spent a lot of time volunteering in animal shelters. Lianna loves to be artistic and is a huge food enthusiast. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and spoiled pug Moose.

Hannah grew up in Columbia, South Carolina and moved to Georgia in 2014. She has two pets at home, a dog named Izzy and a kitten named Lilith. When she is not at work, she likes to play video games and tabletop games. Hannah went to culinary school before finding her passion in the animal care field.
